Patch Testing

Patch testing is a legal requirement and is required prior to any lash/tinting treatments if there has been a change to your medical history, before your first appointment, or every 6 months. 

Changes in medical history also include:

  • Having a covid-19 vaccine is classed as a change in medical history

  • If you have had a positive covid-19 test, this is classed as a change in medical history

If you have had covid or have had a covid vaccine since your last visit, we advise you to wait 2 weeks before coming in for your appointment and we would advise you to be re-patch tested beforehand.​

Patch tests are required at least 48hr prior to your treatment. 


Cancellation

We understand that life can get in the way at times, but please advise us so we can notify clients on our waiting list. 

We kindly ask that you give 24 hours notice to cancel or rearrange any appointment. Cancellations made less than 24hr notice may result in 50% of the treatment cost being charged. 


Consultation

Consultation forms are sent via email and are required to be filled out prior to your appointment. 

Please let us know of any allergies/ medical conditions - this is for your own safety! 

Covid-19

We have gone to extra lengths to make sure that we provide a safe environment for our clients and staff that complies with the guidelines issued by the government​

Our Salon

  • Disposable items will be used when necessary.

  • Hand sanitisers are placed throughout the salon.

  • All surfaces will be disinfected and cleaned before and after every client.

  • Tools and equipment will be sterilised and sanitised after every client.

  • All therapists will wear the required PPE throughout your treatment.

  • Protective plastic sheeting has been fitted to our beauty couch for easy cleaning between clients.

  • Treatment times have been extended to allow time between each client for cleaning.

  • Drinks will be offered in disposable cups.

  • We request Apple Pay/Google Pay/Contactless transactions where possible

  • We are checking in with staff daily to ensure they are healthy and well and have not been in contact with anyone who has Coronavirus.

What We Ask of You

  • Prior to your appointment, you will be sent a consultation form with a covid-19 health check questionnaire. Please ensure you complete this before your appointment.

  • Please use hand sanitiser provided upon entry.

  • Face masks are optional although we would appreciate if you could wear one for close contact treatments i.e. brows.

  • Please keep your belongings to a minimum.

  • Please come alone to your appointment.

  • Please arrive on time to your appointment.

  • Please cancel and rearrange your appointment with as much notice as possible if you or anyone who you live with develop any symptoms of COVID-19

7 DAY GEL WEAR POLICY

We hope that you are pleased with your manicure however; in the event that you do encounter any issues we operate on a 7 day’s repair policy for all gel services. Please report this by email: reception@beleza-beauty.co.uk or by phone: 01482 655345. We are happy to carry out any chip repairs free of charge for the effected nails within this time. After this period, there will be a charge for any repairs.


Please note that your nails are jewels not tools and with this in mind you must take care of them, the level of care you apply to looking after your nails hugely influences how long they will last you.


LATE POLICY

We kindly ask all clients to give me as much notice as possible if you are running late to your appointment.


We understand that sometimes life can get in the way and things may happen causing you to be late, however this has a huge impact on the running of our business and other clients.


Beleza Beauty operates on a 10-minute discretion from your scheduled appointment time. After this time, we're unable to guarantee that we will be able to honour your appointment. Please note in the event of a late arrival, we may not be able to carry out the complete treatment, you will however be charged for the full value of the treatment that was made at time of booking.
